So I awoke today to find out that Disney plans to buy Marvel. First thing that popped into my head was, what the fuck? Is Marvel selling out? What does this mean for the future, considering this is Disney we’re talking about. They release shit like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Bros. What could this possibly mean? Is Marvel going to be more family friendly now? Is Hugh Jackman going to do a musical number in the next Wolverine or X-Men movie? Can we expect to see Xavier Institute Musical? Is Donald Duck going to join the Avengers? Are Gizmo Duck and Iron Man going to battle it out? I really have no idea what to make of this. Although, on paper I don’t think this will go well with the fans of Marvel at all. I don’t know . . . but stay tuned for the next thrilling installment of the Crazy Go Blog true believers.

So today I was watching the Cartoon Network and saw they were running a Scooby Doo marathon. During the marathon they ran these behind the scenes segments for this new Scooby Doo live action movie called Scooby Doo The Mystery Begins.

So I’m watching these behind the scenes segments and then see one on Velma. Right away they said “Hayley Kiyoko as Velma”. Upon hearing that, I just sat there and thought “Velma is Asian?” So I hit up the interweb and did a search on this and found these . . .

Upon zoom in, you can see that Velma is clearly Asian. I mean sure Fred doesn’t have blond hair and Daphne looks 30 but still . . .

In all fairness, maybe this explains why Velma could read Chinese or Japanese. Also, maybe since Velma was pretty much a nerd and the smartest in the group they figured she would make sense as a horrible Asian stereotype. Other than that . . . wtf O_o?

So apparently I’ve had quite a Friday . . .

Today I started off trying to figure out for stuff on the next Crazy Go Lucky layout, which is still a work in progress. Then I ran some errands for my mom. Which was pretty much deposit some checks for her at the bank and pick up some equipment at the cable office so we can get our cable working again. However, in the process, I ended up somehow scrapping the front of my car exiting a parking lot O_o . . .

Then I get home and try to install these freaking things the cable company gave me(which took hours and I pretty much ended my first meal of the day at around 7).

First they gave me a digital cable box

To this exact moment we are still not getting any of the local channels for some reason. Also at the same time, my mom for some reason forced me to apply for work in the photo lab of the yet to be opened Costco in these parts. I mean she literally stood right behind me and dictated to me what to fill out as if I was incapable of doing it myself.

I don’t know . . . I think God hates me O_o. Oh and apparently Cory Aquino the first woman president of Philippines died today. It’s totally unrelated . . . but that’s got to suck . . .

In case you didn’t read my tweet the other day, on June 28, 2009, Facebook was supposed to open up the ability to give pages a username as long as they had 25 fans. Though on that same day, they decided to up the requirement to 100. Currently I only have 36 fans, which means I have 64 more fans to go till I can assign the Crazy Go Lucky fan page a username.

So what I’m pretty much saying is that you guys need to fan that page O_o . . .

But apparently someone smashed my mom’s car’s passenger window and ran off with her work bag. Luckily it’s just a bag full of pens, make-up, her work badge, some reading glasses, and a stethoscope. But either way, the whole notion that someone would bother destroying her passenger side window and steal her little old work bag that has nothing important in it just saddens me. I mean sure they probably thought there valuables in it, but still is it really worth it to do this to people? I hope you’re proud of yourself, you wasted your time breaking that window for a bag that really doesn’t have anything worth stealing in it.
