After wandering around Jack London Square and the Eat Real Festival, we made our way into the Oakland Chinatown Streetfest that also happened to be going on. Here are some photos from that.

Yesterday, James, Andrew, Kevin, Vince, Kenneth, Brandon, and I made a little trek to Oakland’s Jack London Square. The guys wanted to check out the big Eat Real Festival going on there. There were lots of people and various food trucks and booths serving all kinds of food. Here are some pics I took while I was there.

Today my mom made me drive her to another of her friend’s birthdays. Considering there was free Filipino food involved I stuck around a bit. Here are some pics I took while I was there.

So today my mom and I went to her friend Frank’s house to celebrate his birthday with his sister and niece and had dinner with them.

If you’ve had the $1 chicken sandwich at Jack In The Box, you’ll have a good idea what this sandwich tastes like. This is just a more extreme version of that. It comes with 2 chicken patties, 2 slices of cheese, and bacon. While I still think Wendy’s might have a better $1 chicken patty, this sandwich is still pretty good and a decent value. So if you’re not on any kind of diet or care about calories and nutritional info, then I say this sandwich is worth a try.
