This has got to be one of the most interesting matches I have seen in a while, especially this is considering this is PG Era WWE. The thing that stood out the most to is Jericho’s reversal of Bryan’s suicide dive and slamming him into announce table. Also yay for Jericho using the old school Liontamer/Walls Of Jericho with knee to the back of the neck. It definitely looks more painful that way. Also cheers for the WWE allowing this “rookie” to actually maintain some kind of offense against a word heavyweight champion. But who is this Daniel Bryans character? My research shows that he is a famous indy wrestler whose real name is Bryan Danielson.

I don’t know why, but indy wrestling seems to have better atmosphere when it comes to the fans and the action in the ring. Also they actually let the guys wrestle. WWE has kinda lost this aspect over the years. The crowds are pretty dead these days.

40 days and 40 nights, it begins . . .

Since tonight is the final episode of ECW, I figure now would be a good time to remind ourselves what the original ECW was like. You know the ECW before the WWE took it and made it into it’s starting ground for new talent. Which is far from the days of the extreme hardcore wrestling the original ECW promoted. An ECW where wrestlers took their bodies to the limit to innovate violence and entertain a crowd. Original ECW you still are missed . . .

With the end of the WWE version of ECW, the WWE will introduce a new show called NXT. This show will do the job ECW has been doing lately and focus on the new talent in the WWE and train them to be superstars. Which really differed in tone what the original ECW was all about. So I guess it was about time to call it quits with ECW, since it never really was like the original ECW anyway.

Update: NXT is actually a reality show about up and coming wrestlers being mentored by established wrestlers . . . wtf O_o?

So according to American Dad Monochrome Effect by Perfume equals Japanese funk. This marks Perfume’s introduction to America, and makes a very weird song selection by Seth McFarlane to use. Not that the song is bad, but it’s somewhat dated and such an obscure reference to make. I wonder if Nocchi, A-Chan, and Kashiyuka know about this. My mind is totally blown.
