Crazy Go Lucky x Keds x Zazzle = Shoes!

So for a while now, the shoe company Keds and the custom product producer Zazzle have had a partnership that allowed Zazzle to sell custom shoes. Unlike custom shoe programs like Nike ID, this partnership allowed full customization on the Ked shoe models made available. Fully customizable to the point where you’re not just picking colors but you can upload images and add text to the shoes. However the shoes made available were limited to women and children shoes. But then on February 26, 2010 Keds made available to Zazzle the PRO-Keds. This is a mens shoe that comes in a hi-top and a lo-top version and visually looks similar to a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. This new release is being touted as the first fully customizable men’s shoe.
I myself found out about this over the weekend and thought that now would be a good time to try this out. I mean it doesn’t cost me anything to make this product available and the shoe styles look pretty decent to me. So thanks to Zazzle and Keds you will now find CGL themed Keds sneakers for purchase on the Zazzle. The orders are through Zazzle as the shoes are specially made to order. Zazzle handles the designing interfaces and sales, while Keds makes each shoe as an order is placed. My involvement was using Zazzle to inject some Crazy Go Lucky flavor into these Keds shoes. So check the online store to check out the shoes and find out how to pick up a pair!
